FitFact: Top 3 arguments for morning workouts!
Nowhere are opinions more divided than when it comes to the perfect time of day for the gym… Our team is also divided. Today we’re letting the early birds have their say! You know, the crazy ones who drag themselves out of bed at the crack of dawn to get to the training area first thing in the morning. Here they are: The top 3 reasons why morning workouts are the ultimate way to start your day.
3) The early bird catches the muscle 🐦

If you get up early, you not only get more out of the day – you also get more out of your workout! In the morning, the gym is still pleasantly empty and you can use all the equipment to your heart’s content for countless sets. No nervous waiting next door, no breathing down your neck – the leg press is all yours! The same goes for all the treadmills and you’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to choosing a locker. No queues, no distractions.
What’s more, if you train early, you have the rest of the day free for other adventures. So, grab a strong espresso and your sports bag tomorrow morning and be an early bird on the training floor.
2) Booster for energy and a good mood ⚡

I know, I know… Morning grouches don’t really want to hear that. But a morning workout gives you much more energy than ignoring the alarm five times in the morning and not getting any more sleep by snoozing. If you start the day with a workout, you are guaranteed a good portion of energy for the rest of the day. Afterwards, you will not only feel awake, but also happy. Thanks to endorphins! Imagine arriving at the office full of energy and in a good mood, while the others are still struggling to open their eyes and are struggling with their first coffee. That’s something to be a little proud of.
1) The fitness kickstart for your metabolism 🚀

A morning workout is also the ultimate kick-start for your metabolism. While you’re asleep, your body is working on the back burner – but as soon as you get the muscles moving, the engine revs up. This means you burn more calories throughout the day, even if you’re just sitting on the couch watching Netflix. So why not get your metabolism going first thing in the morning and reap the benefits all day long? Your body will thank you! 🔥
Convinced? As you can see, there are many good reasons to use the morning for your workout. So, be brave and give it a try – maybe the morning workout will become your new favorite routine! Has your workout timing not been included yet? Don’t worry, the next FitFact in the Timing series is coming soon. Stay tuned and have fun with your (morning) workout 💪!
