FitFact: The top 3 tips to become as fast and agile as the Easter bunny
To hide all the eggs in time, the Easter Bunny not only has to be strong, but also lightning fast. Brown hares can reach a top speed of up to an incredible 80 kilometers per hour (deutschewildtierstiftung.de)! The Easter bunny will soon be dashing around the houses and through the grass almost twice as fast as Usain Bolt 💨. But how does he actually manage this? In addition to training at ACTIV FITNESS, the Easter bunny has a few other insider tips to share with you today 🤫.
3) The carrot diet 🥕

While we like to fill our stomachs with chocolate and other sweets at Easter, the Easter bunny sticks resolutely to his carrot diet. The Easter bunny doesn’t just nibble on the juicy carrots because they are delicious: carrots are rich in beta-carotene. This doesn’t directly make us faster, but it’s very good for the heart and the eyes – because if you’re dashing around at this monkey speed… er, rabbit speed, you have to recognize every obstacle early on. Maybe we should all eat a few more carrots to work on our agility! 🥕🏃♂️ And yet: treat yourself to a piece of chocolate at Easter – it may not make you fast and nimble, but it makes you happy 🍫😊.
2) The 🥚–cellent training 🏋️♂️

A year ago, we introduced you to the Easter Bunny’s favorite exercises in FitFact. In addition to all the strength exercises that contribute significantly to speed, we must not lose sight of the essentials: running! If you don’t run, you’ll never be able to compete with the Easter Bunny – it’s as simple as that. Classic sprints can be promising here. Try to improve each time and measure your time and distance to track your progress. This is the only way you can keep track of everything and stay close on the Easter bunny’s heels. What’s more, our trainers in the studios are sure to have a few tips for you on how to perform the most impressive hooks.
1) Stretching 🤸♂️

Often neglected, but so important: the Easter bunny stretches thoroughly before every run. This is essential, whether for strength training to improve speed or in any other sport. We regenerate our bodies better when we stretch them regularly and are less prone to injury. When the Easter bunny has hidden all the eggs, he likes to sit back during the off-season and enjoy a longer yoga session instead of strength training 🥚🧘♀️.
So, now you know how it works 😉. We wish you every success in your Easter egg hunt and, of course, lots of fun, relaxation and – as always – good training 💪!
