FitFact: The top 3 guys you meet in the sauna
What could be nicer in the depths of winter than ending sport with a visit to the sauna? In this space dedicated to relaxation, where you can take care of your body, your skin and your mind, you will meet all kinds of people. In this FitFact, we introduce you to the top 3 sauna stars: the conqueror, the shy one and the know-it-all. Perhaps you’ve already met one or two of them during a sauna session 😉.
3) The conqueror 🔱⚔️

Undoubtedly the most muscular guy in the room. A polished, chiseled and shiny body, on whose smooth skin the drops of sweat roll off from head to toe. When the conqueror steps through the sauna door to choose a cozy spot, all eyes are on him. 👀 He is surrounded by a certain aura that makes viewers envious, jealous and admiring. The conqueror doesn’t say much. He comes in, sits or lies down, admires his muscles by tensing them, and comes out again ten minutes later – with the same presence with which he came in. The sauna is an indispensable passageway for the conqueror during his recovery phase.
2) Der Schüchterne 👉👈🥺

When the shy one takes a sauna, you have the feeling of being all alone in the sauna. He is hiding at the very end of the bench, tucked away in the corner. He doesn’t dare lie down for fear of taking up too much space. He has pulled his towel up to his neck so that he doesn’t expose too much of his body. He can hardly stand the recommended time because even before he sits down he is already thinking about the moment when he will be allowed out again. The shy one is definitely a good sauna companion, because he doesn’t disturb anyone while relaxing. 💆♂️
1) The know-it-all 🤓☝️

When you meet an all-rounder in the sauna, it doesn’t feel like you’re sitting in the ACTIV FITNESS sauna. No, you’ll feel like you’re sitting in the know-it-all’s home, in his private sauna. He takes up a lot of space, sweats and turns red 🥵… because he only leaves the sweat room after two hours – completely exhausted and more destroyed than after a monster sports session. The know-it-all is hardly ever to be found in the gym itself. As soon as he has passed the turnstile, he goes into the changing rooms and straight into the sauna. He knows all sauna visitors inside out. He often makes sure that the others adhere to the sauna rules. Even though he doesn’t seem to know them himself. He exceeds the recommended stay time excessively, smuggles a watering can into the gym in his training bag and brags about his sauna infusion skills – based on true events*.
*Note: Of course, you are not allowed to bring your own watering can into our sauna 😉
Now you know them, the three curious sauna goers. Perhaps you have also been able to recognize one or two traits in yourself. Please remember, however, that there are rules and instructions that must be followed to ensure that everyone feels comfortable, because the sauna is first and foremost a place for relaxation, recreation and well-being. We wish you lots of fun in the sauna! ♨️🌡️
